Call of Cthulhu RPG: H.P. Lovecraft's Kingsport (1920s)

$21.99

Kingsport is a coastal town located a morning's stroll from Arkham. Suspended in mists and fog, it is home to artists and fishermen, sailors and dreamers. Here dreams and reality mingle to a disconcerting degree. Some find comfort in these dreams; others find only terror and death. Horror exists in the real world as well. Unspeakable things lurk in their burrows beneath Central Hill and in the fog off the Jersey Reef.

H.P. Lovecraft's Kingsport begins with the famous stories "The Strange High House In The Mist" and "The Festival" written by Lovecraft and from there it expands on the stories providing detailed information on the town, important people and locations, and its surroundings. A 15 x 20 inch Kingsport map shows the village and several miles around. Three scenarios are included so investigators can get right into the action and many more are possible using the information in the book. Finally, this is a Dual System book so it includes statistics for the original version of Cthulhu throughout the text and a section of D20 statistics for use with Call of Cthulhu D20. This book is part of the Lovecraft Country setting for Call of Cthulhu.

H.P. Lovecraft's Kingsport is suitable for beginning or experienced keepers and investigators. There are numerous black and white illustrations, the already mentioned 15 x 20 inch map, and twelve detailed handouts included.

H.P. Lovecraft's Kingsport is a bulging 176 page soft cover perfect bound book with black and white illustrations.
