The two multiplier dice are the perfect companion for those who still favor the old ways regarding critical hits. When a critical is called for on the attack dice, gamemasters who are not hesitant to deal in heroic fantasy allow a roll of one of the multiplier dice to see how well the critical drives home. Depending on your own house rules, heroes can deliver staggering damage on a single critical if the dice favors them. The balance on this is that they may also hit no better than usual (both dice have a 1 position).
The first dice is a white D6 with black numbers. This dice is numbered with two 1X (just X on the dice), two 2X, and two 3X positions. This is for those who want some action on their critical rolls, but want to keep it tame still. With this one simple dice, you can take your game from a monotony of number crunching the villain to death to a heroic strike that cripples the unfortunate soul in a single blow. For the more daring adventurer or for those special moments when house rules allow, there is the second multiplier dice. Again white with black numbers, this one is numbered from x1 to x6. This is potentially a serious amount of damage not to be used lightly unless you expect to be making lots of characters (remember, it works both ways). It is 16mm tall and has slightly rounded edges.
The last dice is a random compass dice for use with everything from parties that are lost in the wild to random dungeon mapping and position of sounds in the distance (really whatever you can think of). This dice is more useful to the gamemaster alone, but still can be a quick random way to decide the direction of an event, person, or place. The dice is black with white letters (N, E, S, W, NE, SE, NW, and SW). It is 16mm tall.
